From Anchorage:
We highly recommend you drive from Anchorage or the Kenai Airport if this is your first visit to Alaska and the Kenai Peninsula. The drive from Anchorage is a three and a half hour scenic drive (providing you don’t stop to enjoy the many photo opportunities along the way).
- Get on the New Seward Highway heading south (Route #1)
- Bear to your right when you reach the Sterling Highway Junction
- Continue south until you reach Ninilchik at milepost 136
- Turn left onto (our newly repaved) Oil Well Road by the Chinook Tesoro Station (only one in town)
- Go 2.8 miles. Our driveway will be on your left (you’ll see our sign) and is directly across the road from the Lighthouse Baptist Church
From Kenai Airport:
- Turn right out of airport
- Turn left onto Main Street Loop
- Continue through the intersection and across the Bridge Access Road
- Turn right onto Kalifornsky Beach Road
- Travel approximately 15 miles until you reach the Sterling Highway (Route #1)
- Continue south until you reach Ninilchik
